Cool storage solution
Are you someone who has the lack of storage in your room? I am. Obviously where I am married ...I share a room, so I can’t take up every bit of space. Boo hoo. If I had a dressing room or a bigger home then maybe it’d be a different story.
Anyway for about 18 months I’ve had a cool little contraption in my wardrobe. This week I decided I needed another one for my growing collection of necklaces.
I don’t have any fancy looking stand, just a simple yet clever feature called the.... The Necklace Hanger.
If you walked past this in a shop you wouldn't really bat an eye lid. But when I was trying to find necklace storage on amazon this popped up in the results.

This is what it looks like in the packaging

The hooks and the faux-suede effect material
It is faux-suede material with hooks attached. On the under side there is double sided Velcro strips at the top and bottom on the faux-suede. When you've found your spot where you wish to hang it, you peel off the backing off the top Velcro strip...apply it to the door and make sure it's secure. Then do the same for the bottom strip.
Taddaa...you have a hanging rack in your wardrobe/closet!!!
It's about £10 including postage and packaging and it can be shipped in and outside the UK. An awesome idea for anyone trying to save space me thinks. Visit their site here.

Burn baby burn......
Now it is officially Autumn it has been time for me to dust off the candles and start burning them hardcore. I love candles.....FACT!!!
In the bathroom when I'm relaxing in the bath. In the living room when I'm snuggled on the sofa watching the TV. On the dinning room table when we're having dinner. In the bedroom to make it feel lovely and calming before bed.
Now I don't really just burn my candles in the winter months, I do it all year round....candle burning is part of the normal day for me, I do it all the time. I especially love candles which have a gorgeous scent. They fill the air in the room with their yummy fragrances. I completely recommend Yankee Candles, they do lots of different sizes and scents and they can burn for a really long time.
There's another brand of candles I'm really loving which is Lily Flame. My current favourite is Daisy Dip.
If you know what Calvin Klein's perfume Eternity smells like, then you'll know what this smells like! I could quite happily stick my nose in this pot and sniff away....it's delicious. The above picture is a new candle I bought as I was getting to the end of the candle I'm currently burning
On the Lily Flame website they describe this 'with a hint of grass, flowers, honeysuckle and violets'. I describe this as CK Eternity. My way is easier :-D *smiley face*
Prices range differently depending where you see them. I know some John Lewis stores stock these. They sell them at a more expensive price than I have ever purchased them (only by about a £1, but its still more money). I pick mine up at my local garden centre, they have a kind of 'shabby chic' section.
Have you ever bought this or any other candles from Lily Flame???

Lets tame that crazzzzzy mane with Mr Freida!!!!
I am one of many people who suffers for frizzy hair. I struggle with the glossy sleek look. When I say 'glossy and sleek' I mean the non-greasy kind of mane which is luscious and you don't want to stop touching your hair because it is so soft.
I read about this wonder product on the gorgeous Milly aka Pearls and Poodles blog right here. She completely recommends it on her post.
John Frieda Frizz Ease - Serum Finishing Spray Glossing Mist
The name is such a mouth full but who cares, the job it does it amazing. When I use this I do not spray it directly onto the hair, I spray to into the air and wave my locks into the falling mist. The doubly good thing about this is that your hair doesn't feel greasy afterwards....just silky and glossy.
I use this a long with my VO5 Miracle Concentrate Elixir With Argan Oil I did a review here if you want to have a little read. I wash my hair blah blah then leave my hair to dry natural. When it's still damp I use the VO5 on the ends of my hair then a bit of Tresmee spray for the hair drying. Once I've finished the hair drying and styling then I spray this and then brush it through. As simple as that ...honest!
So do you suffer from the frizz? I would recommend you give this little miracle in a bottle a whirl! At £5.59 (in Boots) it is a complete miracle worker available from other places like Superdrug and your local supermarket.

MUA Eyeshadow Trio Pink Sorbet Rocks!!!
When I recently attempted to hunt down the famous sellout MUA or as know as the Makeup Academy palette called Heaven and Earth, I saw this trio of pink shadows called Pink Sorbet. Because Heaven and Earth was soldout, I decided to get this instead as it looked super pretty.
All the colours are very shimmery. I personally love shimmery shadows as I like how they reflect and catch the light. They make my eye area look bright and a wake.
You don't get major fall out with this which is great. I think it would of been nice if they had a matt shadow in the trio to try and spice it up a little but I like the palette still regardless.
Colour descriptions: The darkest colour is a shimmery dup of MAC's Cranberry, the medium colour is MAC's Naked Lunch and the lightest is a MAC Shroom/Vanilla. Obviously they are not identical to the MAC's...just look similar.
They are not super pigmented, I find it difficult to pick up colour with a brush I actually find it easier to apply the shadows with the sponge applicator which comes with the trio.
I've really been enjoying this trio, I used it quite a lot in September and it will be in my favourites of the month. The MUA brand is great for people just starting to experiment with makeup. When the brand launched everything was £1. Most things are still a £1, but this trio is £2.50. Still inexpensive. When I was in Superdrug I also spotted a similar trio by Bourjois. Looks identical right?
I swatched these three and compared in store next to the MUA threesome. The MUA actually had nicer colours/swatch qualities compared to the Bourjois. The Bourjois trio is £7.99, has very similar colours and packaging. So MUA is £2.50 and Bourjois £7.99....a whole £5.49 difference. Think I made the right choice :-)

NPOTW ~ Rimmel 193 Black Cherries
The polish in this little bottle has been a firm favourite of mine for many years. It's the perfect autumn/winter shade. Fingers and toes look lovely with this shade.
And this hue is the gorgeous Black Cherries by Rimmel London.
I love Rimmel polishes, the brush size, the consistency of the polish, the colour range, the price! The colour is called Black Cherries but I describe this colour as a dark black with a hint of aubergine. Or Eggplant if you're from the good old US of A. Does that describe sound strange...I'm never good with colour descriptions.
Rimmel polishes are very long lasting and they are chip resident, not bad for a drug store high street brand that comes in less than £3.00. I have finished this look off with Sally Hansen's Mega Shine Top Coat. Look how shinny it is??
Sorry for the lack of post in September it's been very busy hence why I've not been about on Twitter and Blogger. Hopefully all should be normal again :-D

Want to see something pretty...?
How about this.....
Stop and stare....
I had just finished work last night and started to make my way a cross London's Blackfrairs Bridge when I saw this magnificent wonder.
Me and about 50 others all whipped out our mobiles, cameras and camcorders to picture this gorgeous moment.
How I LOVE a beautiful sunset. England believe or not is one of the best known places in the world for brilliant sunsets and rises.
Sorry it's completely non-beauty related in the cosmetic sense, but still a natural beauty any how.
Hope you like.....

Rimmel Lipstick Nude Delight
I'm going through a bit of a nude phase at the moment. Instead rushing to the shops looking for a nude colour lippy to paste on my lips, I raided my collection and recycled from there. Sometimes you don't realise what you have lurking about deep in your vanity draws.
I feel kind of ashamed as I think I bought this and wore it a few times then forgot about it. I'm such a compulsive buyer I never realise I have things ... Tut tut!
I like Rimmel lipsticks as they are inexpensive and they come in such a range of colours to choose from. I like this ones packaging... you can find this in the depths of your hand bag due to the bright purple case.

This is part of the 'Moisture New' range with Rimmel, it's classed as a lipstick but has that moisturising wet look which can make it look quite sheer and lip balm like. All depending on how much you layer this up the colour will be either sheer or quite pigmented.
It also contains good stuff like anti oxidants and vitamins A,C and E. The lovely people at Rimmel have also thrown in SPF 20 to protect from the daily elements.
Top: Natural lighting and Bottom: With flash
As you can see from the swatches you can see the difference between natural lighting and flash photography. Both swatches look great though!
Now I wouldn't say this is lovely and I buy it again, I definitely prefer my Boots 17's Beehive, Chanel's Boy or MAC's Hue (to name a some). There are kind a few I'd choose over this. I'm not saying it's rubbish, but maybe there was a reason I threw it in the bottom draw...? I will use this though, I refuse to let it go to waste.

Empties that I loved...
and still love...September has seen me finish a few items.
Superdrugs Deep Action Cleansing Lotion
For a drug store product I really love this. I'd run out of my Clinique Exfoliate and needed a cheaper alternative. And I stumbled across this in the aisles of Superdrug. To use this, cleanse your face then grab a cotton pad and wipe this over your face (avoiding the eyes). Because your pores will be open it will tingle, which is good...at least you know it's working. What's excellent about Superdrug, they have a tendency to have 'buy 3 get the cheapest free' deals. So you can stock up on this and other items.
Garnier 2 in 1 Makeup Remover
This is my favourite eye makeup remover. However stubborn the eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara this will remove it. Soak a cotton pad and push this onto your lid and give it a little wiggle into the lashes and you'll be amazed. They is no need to rub or wipe so hard it hurts, this just melts off any product. This won't sting your eyes and it isn't oily. I am a contact lense wearer and it's fine. The bottle just needs a little shake to mix the two parts togther and off you go!
Finally thoughts...
Would I repurchase any of these?? Ha, I already have done as they were on sale. I have recently purchased some Liz Earle items so I'm giving these a whirl first.
What have you used up recently??

Finally found my holy grail eyeliners!
I love finding the ultimate eyeliners...well for me anyway. I've tried quite a few out...some drug store and some high end brands. And I now the search is over as I have found my one and only! Going by the first name Estee surname Lauder...
I first found these eyeliners when I got a free sample of the Black Oynx liner in free gift. It's been my love ever since. I have now bought some full sized ones, here's what I've got.
Black, brown, purple and grey basically, these are full size versions. Onyx, Coffee and Graphite are my most used. Black Plum is the newest into my collection.
The pencils are soft and you don't need to press too hard to get the colour to show. They are also super pigmented and that colour lasts all day. It doesn't fade throughout the day. It truly lasts. Here's the swatches...
Each full size liner comes with a smudger. I don't use it really as i don't tend to smudge my liner.
Double Wear Stay in place eye pencil

The swatches in normal dull light & flash photography
As I'm writing this post I still have these swatches on my hand and they are still there as good as new. They really do last well. You don't even need to prepare the base first they work well without. You might need a base if you have oily skin though. If I'm putting these on my lower lash line I always put a bit of MAC's Painterly Pain Pot on 'just in case' it slips.
They are a little pricey at £16, but I honestly don't mind spending the money as I think they are amazing!

H&M purchase
Cue the lovely floaty top....
I purchased this at the weekend from H&M at lovely price of £19.99. I was quite shocked when I popped into H&M. I was with my Mum and took about 5 tops into the changing room with me. This was the only one that looked decent, everything looked huggggeee on me.
It was shocking finding tops that were too baggy. It used to be the other way round and that my clothes were usually too tight. This still looks baggy in this picture, but at the waist it is pulled in, so it has some structure.
Since being on Slimming World, it been weird trying on new clothes as I'm confused about my sizings at the moment. Also don't want to go too crazy as I want to lose my weight.
Until the next time folks.

What's in my hand bag / purse???
Hi everyone, I hope your Saturday is going well so far. I recorded a video for what's in my handbag / purse on Friday evening. I know some people do blog posts but I decided I wanted to make a video. My second one......yay! I had to edit a lot as I was a bit hmmmm and ahhhhh-ish in the video. I'm not a professional like some guru's out there :-)
So here it is...
I hope you enjoy it.

Monthly Favourites: August 2011
Its been a while since wrote about my monthly favourites. So I thought I'd wow you with just a few quick favourites. There isn't a ton of items but here goes anyways.
I love my Essence of Beauty brushes which I purchased on my March trip to NYC. You can pick this up in CVS Pharmacy. I bought the 6 pack (3 brush handles with 6 different brush heads) for $14.99 plus your taxes. I usually use my CVS brushes to apply my makeup on the train...means you only need to take 3 with you and they do the job of 6 brushes. Easy peasy.
I love big watches. For me it feels like your wearing a guys watch because it's so big and chucky. I picked this watch a few months ago in Superdrug and it was only £7.99. I thought it was a complete bargain.
In Bloom was a late July purchase. I went to the Marks & Spencer outlet in Lakeside Thurrock where they sell reduced stock. I spotted this in the beauty/home section. You could buy 3 get the cheapest for free. It's only a small bottle which is perfect for taking out and about in my handbag. The In Bloom scent is Jasmine and Honeysuckle which is delicious.
From the state of my of roll on you can tell my Garnier Nutritionist Caffeine Eye Roll On is well loved. I loved the roller ball as it's cooling and it almost gives you a mini massage on your under eye area when you use it. It can be pricey though, so have a shop around.
My little pump of Aveda Volumizing Tonic is so cute. I got a free sample when I popped into buy Shampoo and Conditioner. I have quite flat hair sometimes so it's nice to get samples to try things out before buying the big bottle. This does work quite nicely for me but because I have thick heavy hair it doesn't last too long sadly. But I still love it.
What are you favourites this month?
L-R ~ In Bloom, Garnier Roll On, Aveda, Superdrug Watch, MAC's Bare Study & Omega and Essence of Beauty Duo Brush
Close up of: the watch, Essence of Beauty brush and MAC's Bare Study and Omega
I neglected my Bare Study for a little too long and it had got to that time where I needed to dust off this little gem. My ultimate holy grail which you should know by now is Painterly for an eyeshadow base. But I'm getting to the end of Painterly (I hit pan). I was tempted to buy another but I thought it'd be wiser to use what i have lurking around my vanity draws. I have to say I had forgot how nice Bare Study actually is. Yes it isn't a matte colour which I'm used to...but it is quite pretty. It brightens the eye area with it's shimmer.
Omega is one of those MAC eye shadows that you don't hear about too often. The matte shadow (which is part of the permanent line, if you didn't know that already) is a light grey/taupey colour. I find this perfect for blending creases or even a wash of colour all over the lid. A really plain non-fussy eye. I have teamed with Quarry to create a smokey eye look previously. Click here for you wish to have a peek.

Chanel | Rouge Coco Shine 54 Boy
Another part of my Chanel Haul was the lovely Rouge Coco Shine in 54 Boy. I hear a lot of people talking about Chanel lipsticks, so I'm glad I finally have joined the club. Mark at Chanel House of Fraser Oxford Street picked out this colour for me. I'm so glad he picked out this...shows he's got good taste.
This is a rosy pink which is so hydrating on the lips. I love the fact that it has a nice scent too. I swear it smells of roses.
If you can notice there is a slight shimmer to the pink. It's not overly obvious but I think this gives the lipstick a wet look. This remind me of a lip balm rather than a lipstick.
The simple Chanel which I love...sexy!
Sadly I for got to take a decent photo of this on my lips. This is all I have.
I really love this lipstick so much I could quiet happily purchase more. They are not cheap though at £22. 50 it does make you gulp at the price tag. But this is so beautiful so it doesn't make you feel too bad for long. There are lots of shades to choose from, so if you don't like this shade there are plenty more to check out.
I am now a Chanel Coco Rouge Shine lover for sure.

Chanel Nail Colours | Peridot & Graphite
Another part of huge Chanel haul was these two gorgeous nail polishes. I didn't actually intend to purchase these but...I am a girl and I can be persuaded easily....especially if these are being dangled in my face!
So firstly this beauty that goes by the name of Graphite number 529.
This is a lovely lovely LOVELY polish and I couldn't recommend this enough. The above picture is three coats. The polish it's self just in the bottle is stunning. You could say this is a silvery black grey glitter polish but that description doesn't do it justice. It is beautiful!!!! Even though it is glittery it dries smooth, you can't feel the lumps and bumps of the glitter. If you wear this you will just stare at your nails...trust me. Oh one more thing, this is as easy as anything to remove with polish remover...not like your usual glitter polishes.
And next on the Chanel conveyor belt is Peridot number 531...
Peridot is one of the polishes when you look at the bottle is is very deceiving and shows a completely different colour. It kind of reminds of a moody ring...every time you move it around the light catches a different colour. It's a green one minute, then a gold ...its a true chameleon.
My favourite of the duo is Graphite. I like Peridot but it just doesn't do it for me like Graphite does. I'm not saying I don't like Peridot, I just think Graphite is more wearable.
I know you've probably seen tonnes of reviews of these polishes so I won't go on too much longer ;-)

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre | Emerveille & Ebloui
If you want to see my Chanel haul post click right here. I promised a in depth show an tell of my new Chanel items so here is the post for the Illusion D'Ombre's in the shades Emerveille & Ebloui.
Packaging is sleek and come in cute glass jars. Pretty much like MAC's Paint Pots...just better looking.
These are a very similar texture to a Maybelline Moose product, they feel like sponge cake. Creamy-spongy-soft-velvet-moose. They are not clumpy and look like powder eye shadows once they are blended onto the lid.
My main advice with these and with ANY eyeshadow, use an eyeshadow base before you apply these. They are 'long wearing shadows' but they'll stay put much longer if you use a base. I use my holy grail item MAC's Painterly Paint Pot.
They have a ultra micro fine glitter in them to make them look metallic. It's not chucky glitter at all and there will be no fall out under the eyes.
In the boxes you get the shadow and a brush like above. It's so small it's the size of my little finger. The handle turns into the lid and its perfect for on the go application.
Only problem with the brush, they do not collect enough shadow so you have to go back and forth a lot which is annoying. I used my finger in the end which was better.
If I had to compare these colours I would say Ebloui is like MAC's Twinks eyeshadow with the added micro-fine glitter. It's a reddish toned Brown/Cranberry shade. A lovely crease colour.
Emerveill for me resembles MAC's All that Glitters and maybe Stila's Kitten. It's a light pinky/peach/champagne colour. It is perfect for throwing over the lid for a quick natural look.
At £22.50 each they may seem expensive but honestly you get a lot of product in the pot. Plus you don't need a lot of the product on your brush or fingerto make this work. The pigmentation is beautiful.
The collection launched last Friday and I know these are hot property so If you like the look of these get on down to your nearest Chanel stand. I believe there are six new shades to choose from!!!!

Chanel Haul
Last Friday I had a makeup session with the lovely people at the Chanel counter at Oxford Streets House of Fraser store. This might sound shocking but I've never purchased any Chanel items before. It was one of the brands I just hadn't had the chance to experience (a part from their perfumes).
When I got there the lovely Mark beautified me, he is such a nice guy...made me like fabulous. I let him have free rein to do anything he wanted. So he did! I didn't take a picture of the finished look, but I purchased items he used on my to try one day to recreate what he did.
So here's my Chanel haulage....
I picked up the two Illusion D'Ombre (that day they were released) eyeshadows, Matt Lumiere foundation, Infinite Length and Curl mascara, a Rouge Coco Shine lipstick. Plus two Nail colours as extras (also really that day).
I seriously don't think my little Mastercard was happy with this lot...but I am. Instead of doing a reallllllly long blog post showing everything individually i am going to do a post for each of the items. If I included everything on here this post be very long indeed.
So watch this space for follow ups.....one is coming very soon!!!
Bye for now

Stila Shimmer Duo in Kitten
I have exciting news ladies, especially us UK ladies!!! If you have heard of the brand Stila which is a US brand, you'll be happy to know that Stila is now available in the UK in Boots. The entire range is not available but some of the brands best items are now here!!!! Yay!
The left side is the most famous Stila shade in Kitten. If you have MAC's All that Glitters eyeshadow it is pretty similar to that. If you don't know what All that Glitters is, the only way I can describe the shadow is like a pale pearly pink with very fine glitter. It's very pretty.
The right side is a golden colour which is really nice, but I don't know if that has its own name. I would say this is more the bronzing shade and Kitten is for highlighting. But when I use this I sweep my brush over both colours to get a mixture of both of them.
With the above and below pictures you can see how shimmery the swatches are. They are not filled with 'chucky' glitter more a ultra fine shimmer. If you applied this to your face you won't look like you threw glitter on your face.
With the product you are not just limited to using this as a cheek/brow highlight, you can use it anywhere. You can use it on your décolleté or neck/collar bone, arms, shoulders ...anywhere. They are safe to use around the eye area, so you can use as eyeshadows if you like (they can be applied wet or dry). I have been using this as a cheek highlight though and it looks so nice on your face. I have to say that this has excellent lasting power and in fact this lasts all day on my cheeks. It doesn't disappear like some products would. I do get sweaty tubes/subways to work and we all know what travelling in hot humid conditions is like....so the fact this lasts is fabulous.
The compact cost £16.00 if you're wondering. It does seem expensive but I can't see myself running out of this anytime soon. I've been using this for a few weeks and I've barely made a dent in the top. I think it's the fact you don't need a lot of this product to make it work for you.
I did only purchase this from Boots, it's not that I had to hold myself back it's just I still have lots of my NYC items so I saw no reason to go crazy.
So if you're a UK Stila lover you can buy from Boots online here. There is a Stila stand in the Lakeside branch, so you can see it up close and personal there :-) Also....there is more....If you know the online site ASOS, you might of seen that they sell Stila on their website too!!! Click here to have a look.

The box/packaging
If you remember back from my NYC haul I purchased a few Stila items. I love Stila so I raided Sephora and Macy's a few times. This isn't the first time Stila is in the UK. Years ago Stila used to be in the UK in Space NK stores. But for some reason it went into hiding never to be seen again....until now that is. Now when I say it's now stocked in Boots I can only assume it is available in large Boots stores. Not the little stores. I found my Stila counter at Boots in Lakeside Thurrock.
Natural lighting ...what it looks like inside the compact

Forever 21 Jewellery Haul
Just a quick post before I go for my SW weigh in....wish me luck!
I did a recent haul of earrings and a bracelet from the new Oxford street branch of London's first EVEEEEERRRRR Forever 21. Yeeeeehaaaa
I don't know if the stones/ gem stones are real. They feel heavy-ish, so they almost could be perhaps. Both earrings came to under £10. The earrings on the left - the gold ones were only £3.15!!!!! Yes I did type that correct...£3.15. The turquoise ones on the right were £3.15 again. Nice price for high street and they don't look cheap either.
I should say bracelets really. This was a set of three and they look lovely, noisy but lovely. I only paid £7.40 for the set which I think is an amazing price. They are all different designs and look very pretty on.
My cat Milly also tried to seek in my pictures if you look below ....hehe
I so recommend popping into Forever 21 if you have the chance. There are tonnes of jewellery bits and bobs to choose from. Any one who loves jewellery will be in heaven!!
What does everyone else think of Forever 21?

VO5 Miracle Concentrate Elixir with Argan Oil
These days a lot of people think you need to spend mega bucks to get great hair. If you're a celebrity...then you can.... but for us normal folk - it isn't so easy on the purse strings.
One of the latest trends is Moroccan Oil, which has celebrity fans along the lines of Katy Perry, Rachel Bilson, Taylor Swift , Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood. ...even Russell Brand is said to be a fan. I've seen and read that quite a few beauty guru's are starting to use M.O. also. The only thing about M.O. is it can be ever so slightly expensive. So my next best alternative is the V05 equivalent...
This 50ml bottle came in at £5.00 from good old faithful Tesco. Completely accessible to most people in the UK. It can also be found in most other supermarkets and Boots and Superdrug. Prices do vary, so have a look around before you hand over your pocket money so to speak.
V05 have been around for quite sometime and they know their stuff. I have always been a fan of their shampoos and conditioners and would total recommend the brand. When it comes to hair the boys and girls at V05 know what they are talking about.
You can either use this on towel dried hair or the other way is to use it on dry hair as a frizz tamer and to provide a bit of extra shine. I love using this on my towel dried locks. I just comb my hair through and into the palm of my hand - drop about 4-6 drops. I then apply this to the ends of my hair and any excess i have left over I just run my hands through my hair.
When I have finally dried my hair it is so smooth and silky. And it's very soft too and I just want to keep touching it. Sometimes it is so nice i don't even bother to style my hair with the GHD's. This is very conditioning and makes my hair feel lovely.
The obvious thing with this product is that it is an oil.....sooooo if you have the tendency to get oily scalp/hair don't use it near your roots. It's not an oily/greasy product any way and you don't need to apply this to the root area as its more the body and tips of the hair that need an Argan oil special treatment.
If you want to check the V05 website for this product and any others they sell. You can click right here.
My final thoughts of this product are - it says miracle in the name. They must of forgot to add worker after that, because this certain is! At £5.00 is a completely bargain. A little goes along with this all depending on the length and thickness of your hair. The packaging though I'm a bit hmmm ahhh about. It has a little pipette is distribute the product and I'm not too sure if a spray bottle would be better or not. I'm still debating so in my head as I write this post. But a side from the packaging this is a winner for me...hands down!!!!
Have you tried this or any other Argan oil treatment? What are your thoughts?

Max Factor Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint
Now who out there struggles to have a long lasting lip colour??? Food, drink and the odd kiss here and there all make the task of keeping your lip colour lasting all the more difficult. A few beauty companies are coming out or have already done so ....the felt tip pen style lip stain. Revlon and Maybelline to name a few. With a few random left over Advantage Card Points I picked this up during the week.
The colour on the packaging to me shows the colour pink, which you would 'assume' is the colour which the product will show as on your lips. Now the swatch above for me is more on the red shade than the pink shade. Still a nice colour but red!
I like this product, at a fairly decent price of £7.99 (that was the Boots price) the results are not bad. I think the packaging colour was a little deceiving. My colour is more red than pink, which would of been the preferred look. Never the less it was a nice colour.
The pen part worries me, will it dry out or not. It's like a felt tip pen you used to have in school and did feel a little rough on the lips when it came to application. I think the design is better than say Benefits Benetint. You're not likely to spill this as there isn't any to spill .... it is more user friendly. You can just pop it on your bag unlike the Benefit option. Plus the Max Factor is cheaper...thumbs up indeed.
This will fade through of the day. It's not meant to last all day, just stain your lips for a while. But it fades evenly and doesn't look patchy, so don't worry - you will not look weird. It doesn't leave any horrible taste on your lips either and smells quite nice. I give this product the thumbs up :-)
Have you ever tried any lips stains? What are your thoughts?

The Pen.....Pink Princess
Max Factor to me usually has the X Factor of the high street makeup for me and I was hoping this wouldn't disappoint. The Max Factor Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint is a bit of a mouthful to say, it's not a short and sweet name. There are six colours to choose from and I chose the usual standard pink cutely called Pink Princess.
The hand swatch
