Easy Bean Chickpea Crispbread

I usually have an addiction for handbags, makeup and all things pretty.  However I now have a food addiction for these...

The Easy Bean Chickpea Crispbreads... ahhhh I love these.  I first spotted these at the Be Fit London event in March.  Their stand had samples and boy did I love them.  Straight away I scooped up 6 boxes.

I especially love Mungbean with Chive and Seeds with Black Pepper.  They are so more-ish, I have to tell myself to stop eating them or I'll eat the entire pack.  They also sell a third flavour called Moroccan Spice.

Easy Bean is an British brand where they produce their healthy chickpea crispbreads in a Somerset bakery.  They are full of natural ingredients sourced from local farms.  They are also jam packed with seeds which provide a healthy source of omega oils.  Plus they are high in fibre which we all know what that does ;-)

I love eating mine with avocado mashed on top.  It's easy to prepare and tastes so good.  I also like putting pieces of chicken between two slices and making a 'sandwich'.

I have found these are great if you are trying to eat clean, as they are made from few ingredients.  And they are very filling.  They are also get the seal of approval for vegetarians!!

I buy mine at Holland and Barrett and I have also seen them at my local farm shop.  You can also buy them in packs of 4 from Amazon.  If you want to find out more about Easy Bean and their products click here.

Enjoy!

Aromatherapy Associates Miniature Collection

I have never really dabbled too much with bath oils.  Perhaps the random baby oil bath after a summer holiday to stop my skin from peeling, but other than that I have never really taken much notice.

I first got to know about Aromatherapy Associates through the blogging You Tube world and I've heard nothing but good things.  As I didn't know too much about any of the individual oils, when I saw this miniatures set it seemed like the perfect way to ease myself in gently.  I love that you get a pick and mix of some of their award winning therapeutic oils.

So this is what you get...

In this gorgeous little set you get 9 individual oils which are only 27 ml.  A great size for travelling plus the sleek box will take up no room at all in the bathroom cabinet.  Even though each of these bottles may seem small, you can achieve three baths or showers with each... so adding that all up you will get 27 uses.  Not bad huh??

In the set you get a good selection of different oils.  From deep relaxation to light, de-stressing both deep and light and reviving the body plus so others.  The award winning essential oils I have found really great for muscle relaxing after a hard work out and the 'stress' oils have worked wonders making me relax and forget my troubles.

I think after finishing this set I'd certainly repurchase or purchase a full sized bottle of one of the oils.

If you are searching for a gift for someone or if you fancy treating yourself to some pamper time... you can buy this set at Space NK right here.

Poached Eggs With Bacon & Avocado

Breakfast is the best meal of the day for me personally.  I always try to make it something healthy and filling.   After all it is the first meal to kick start your metabolism and your day.  Usually at the weekends I like to make a fancy breakfast, as I have a bit more time than the week days.

This weekends luxury breakfast was this...

Gorgeous aren't they??  A little piece of heaven on a plate.  This my take on the famous Eggs Benedict (kind of...).  I swapped some ingredients around and replaced with others and it turned out like this.

At the base, as opposed to the traditional English muffins I used Kalamata bread, olive bread to you and I. I gave the slices a quick cook in the toaster to add a little crunch.  I love this bread as you get big pieces of olive in there and it tastes so much better than just regular bread.

The next layer is mashed up avocado.  Half was more than enough to make two servings.  I added nothing to mine just gave it a good old mash into a chunky paste.  No lemon or pepper or salt, just plain old avocado.

On top of that is a poached egg which I poached for 5 minutes in boiling water.  On top of that I then added some bacon with all visable fat removed (we're being healthy here remember??)  I chopped it into small pieces and just scattered them on top.

Lastly the dish was seasoned with black pepper and a sprig of parsley.  Ta-dah!

An easy simple dish which will take no time at all plus they taste amazing too.  This was my first time making this and it was done in about 5 to 8 minutes.  Not bad huh?  I love it when you cut in to it the egg just oozes out everywhere. Homer Simpson drool time!!

I hope this has given you an idea what to try next weekend for breakfast or lunch :-)

Vineyard Peach Collection

Whilst out shopping this weekend, me and the hubby were in the search for food.  On our way to the food court, we walked past The Body Shop. They were displaying in the window the new Raspberry products I'd heard Fleur rave about, so naturally I dragged my hubby in.

I gave the products a sniff and was not particular bowed over and that was the end of it.  I didn't need anything else, so we made our way to the exit then I spotted this...

Vineyard Peach Gift Set - RRP £15

To say I did a girly excited dance is an understatement (my hubby as my witness).  When I saw TBS had brought Vineyard Peach back I just got a little over excited.  The hubby then grabbed what I was getting so worked up about and dashed to the tills and bought it for me.  Got a love him!

For £15 you get a full sized body butter, body mist and shower gel.  The body butter alone works out to £13, so by doing a calculation in your heads you'll know this is one heck of an offer.

If you know me by now you'll know I love this scent, I reviewed the body butter last year here.  So if you want to smell like a fresh peach this is the way to go about it!  I'd pop in to store to buy this as it doesn't seem to be online ... boo!!!
