A special day for a special couple

Today I have had a permanent smile of my face.  The obvious reason is the royal wedding.  I'm so proud to be British today of all days!!  I love weddings but today was soooooooooo magical to watch.

Could they look anymore happier?????

Catherine Middleton officially became a Princess today and it was an amazing sight.  Who could not be happy for them?  A beautiful moment was when Catherine reaches the altar with her father Michael and William says 'you look beautiful'.  Who could not say a big Awwwwww to that?

One sad thing though, is that William's Mother Diana wasn't there to witness this splendid event.  I'm sure she was looking down from some heavenly cloud :-)  I swear it was her keeping the rain at bay.

A small detail I have to mention, that DRESS!!!! O-M-G!!!!! I thought my wedding dress was beautiful, but Catherine looked like the most beautiful thing on the face of the planet!!! 10 out of 10 to the dress designer Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.  She deserves a huge HUGEEEE pat on the back for that!!!

I hope you had a beautiful day!!!  I'm watching the BBC wedding highlights, even though I saw the wedding live this morning.  But I don't care...I can't get enough!

Jolly news and gossip!!!

Hello blogger friends,  Hope you're all well.  This isn't a beauty post more of a just to let you know the jolly gossip about me at the moment.  And basically  the reason why I've not been about.

If you haven't guess all ready I'm getting married.  And the big day is THIS WEEKEND Saturday, September 18th!!  And my life is some what hectic.  I've been off work since Tuesday trying to de-stress myself.  No one says getting married is easy.

I'm so busy getting my last minute wedding things organised, going to wedding rehearsals, packing my honeymoon suitcase...  I've not had the time or brain power to even think about posting a blog post.  Sorry to be a let down, please for give me :- )

I promise when it's all over, the normal Angela / Jolly will return!!!  So for now I thought I'd leave you all with a few crazy hen party pictures.  Well nothing too crazy haha;

Striking a pose...

Me and my mother hen, my super duper Mum!!

My best friend Claire (and bridesmaid)

Me being a fool again...and why not!!!

and lastly....
Prezzo's Banana Cheesecake...yummy!!!

So the wedding is on the 18th and then I'm off on my honeymoon on the Monday for a week.  So I'll be back and normal again hopefully by the weekend of 2-3 October.  September has basically been a non blog post month for me...can you blame me?!?

So wish me luck, and all pray it doesn't rain!  See you soon :- )

As promised

Hey every one, so as promised i’m reporting back after my Bobbi Brown session tonight. And you know what, I was thoroughly impressed.
The time taken by Stephanie; her advice, her skills, her personality – first class!! Thumbs up!! I really enjoyed being her blank canvas and she even admitted when we were finished, that she really enjoyed working with me. Two happy people.

So want to see the finished look Stephanie created (plus a little help from yours truly)

Sorry for the poor lighting, it was pretty dark. Admittedly you can't really see the look

In the flesh, I describe this look as perfecto! You can see makeup in the photos but it’s not OTT – kind of natural English rose-ish.

After discussion with Stephanie, we opted for warm tones which look better on me. Warm eyes, warm blush, warm lips : -)  We used Ivory eyeshadow all over the lid and then a warm matte Taupe eyeshadow.  She also used a shadow Birch on my brows.  Lined my eyes with gel liner Espresso Ink then added mascara.  She added just a little blusher and finished off with liner and lipstick.

I purchased some of the products Stephanie used on me, i know i have some duplicates lurking around my vanity somewhere. But here i the things i did buy.

Lip stick Sandwash Tulle (54) pale neutral pink- £15.50
Lip Balm SPF 15 - £13.50
Blush Desert Rose (15) Muted pinky brown - £16.50
Lip liner Ballet pink (29) pale neutral pink - £14.00
Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation SPF 15 Warm sands 2.5 - £28.00

sorry for dodgy face...lol

So what do you think?  Is this very bridal you think?
My second session with Stephanie is August 5th......can't wait.  Have you booked or had a makeup session with anyone recently???

Night bloggers,
