Another magazine offer...

Just a small post sharing the love of magazine freebies.  You can't turn down a freebie.

The freebie are by Red (Louise Rednapp) and Instyle (Rachel Bilson) Magazines

Louise and Rachel looking oh so gorgeous

First of Red.... they are giving away Neal's Yard Nourishing Orange Flower Daily Moisturiser.  In the shops this is worth £7.00 according to Red Mag, so this is a bargain to be had.  I've never had the pleasure of trying N.Y. before, so definitely taking advantage.  You get a reasonable size bottle too...

This has a strong smell to it, but smelt nice when I swatched it.  I can't really review it for you as haven't had it long enough.

Swatch....nothing fascinating going on there really.

I'm going to keep this in my hand bag and use it has a hand moisturiser.  Baby soft hands here I come...

For Instyle, they are giving away 2 different colour lip and cheek stains from The Body Shop. A red and this one (see below), I opted for this one as i already have the red cheek and lip stain. The red one is a less expensive version of Benefits Benetint.

Corally looking ...

Applied to the skin (top) and then blended(bottom)

As you can see from the bottom picture, it's quite shimmery.  You can see a little stain affect to the right.  I don't personally know if  I'd  use this on my lips.  But definitely for highlighting and bronzey/corally blush stain.  This is about £9.00 in The Body Shop, so yet another bargain!

So you seen any cool magazine deals lately?  Or what do you wish they would give away, I'm wishing for OPI polishes... :- )

Have a good Friday everyone....yay the weekend is here!!!

A little help required...pls

How’d bloggers friends.  Wow 12 followers now, me so happy.  Every time I see that number go up my smile gets bigger and bigger. Yay good times.

So was wondering if you’d all help me was something??? Go on... :- )

Question to you all, what is your favourite under eye concealer?

Picture from Bobbi Brown

I am trying to find the best one out there to fight the darkness. I do have concealers...(many of them).  But I apply mine at 8am and by 1pm I’m looking a little on the dark side so I have to touch up my makeup.  Obviously on my wedding day I don’t really want to reply make up again.  So I thought i’d ask around.

So what under eye concealer would you recommend?  Please let me know, I’d be a extremely grateful :- )

And a little tip to anyone who doesn’t have dark circles .....yet!! Prevent them at all costs.  I wish I had, some days I look like I’ve had a few rounds with Mike Tyson...lol.  Prevention is defiantly better than try to cover up. Sleep, drink plenty of water and eye creams....I’m going by that motto now.

Hope you’re having a good day so far, I’m off for my second session at Bobbi Brown tonight...can’t wait.

Bye for now my blogger friends :- x

Exfoliate, exfoliate with S&G

After my first Bobbi Brown session and speaking to Stephanie about my skin. Her comments about my ‘good and flawless skin’ got me thinking, I mean initially when she said this to me, I attempted the old ‘really I thought my skin was bad?’ She stood in front of me (open mouthed) and responded to me by saying ‘if you think your skin is bad, then I don’t know what the rest of the country has’. I was actually touched by her comments.
She told me that no one is prefect (which I know), no one has completely flawless face. We all have our ‘bad’ areas, redness, dryness, broken capillaries, pimples, large pores etc but take away my redness and dark under eyes.... I’m actually alright in the skin department.

I have to say in recent months I have tried to take better care of my skin. I admit I can be naughty some nights, but I’m 80% goodie 2 shoes. I was thinking that perhaps my semi-flawless skin was created with a little help from this gizmo...

Soap and Glory Face massage Mini Mitt

I purchased my little friend back in May from Boots and it has been a big part of my skin cleansing routine. One little drop/pump of your favourite skin cleanser, just add water to the mitt and your face and with circular motions rub the mitt onto your face. Then rinse afterwards. This mitt will last a life time if treated with TLC, as it is made out of rubber. See?!

See the little rubber bits to exfoliate your skin?

You get one in a pack and it costs approx. £5, which is good value. There is a small handle on the back of the mitt for you to hold on to. The only con i have about this product is when it’s wet its slippery, so with a small handle it can be hard to hold. But it doesn’t bother me that much.
I would definitely repurchase and recommend this :- )
